Greg Spickard

Greg is the President and manages fiduciary services for Virtus. He has attained the  Qualified Plan Consultant (QPA) designation that is administered by the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries(ASPPA).

Along with his brother Mike, Greg founded and managed one of the largest third party administration firms in the US, Summit Retirement Plan Services. Upon its acquisition in April 2010, Summit had grown to over 50 employees and nearly 1,100 retirement plan clients ranging from the very small to the very large, some with several thousand employees.

Greg’s years of service at Summit and his success in guiding clients through the maze of plan administration make him uniquely qualified to meet a plan's on-going fiduciary compliance needs. He is dedicated to providing plan sponsors with solutions critical to their evolving plan governance needs.

Brian Kahl

Recognizing the need to separate investment related fiduciary obligations from non-investment related fiduciary duties, Brian is a co-founder of Virtus Fiduciary Consultants, LLC (formerly The Qualified Plan Consultants Group, LLC incorporated in 2008.)  

Brian is Vice President and manages new business development and ongoing client relations for Virtus.  He has attained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation that is administered from Fiduciary 360 (fi360) with professional credentials conferred by the Center for Fiduciary Studies™

Over the last 22 years, he has focused on the corporate retirement plan marketplace, and in 1999 incorporated The Kahl Group, LLC as an independent advisory practice to provide services to both corporate and individual clientele.
